West Pokot County Ready for KDSP II Implementation
Governor Simon Kachapin hosted Mr. Abanus Mbindio from the World Bank, who visited the county to assess its preparedness for the Kenya Devolution Support Program (KDSP II).

West Pokot County is pleased to confirm that it has successfully met all the requirements for this World Bank-funded initiative, which is being rolled out across all 47 counties. This milestone reflects the county’s dedication to strengthening governance, enhancing service delivery, and promoting effective devolution.

In line with our commitment to transparency and public accountability, all budget documents have been made accessible on the official county website.

The meeting was also attended by CECM for Public Service Management, ICT, and Devolved Units Hon. Martin Lottee, Chief Officers Musa Loshang’ole and Raphael Kalomaria, alongside other senior county officials.
