UNDP and Partners Meet Governor Kachapin to Enhance Regional Collaboration

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and its strategic implementing partners paid a courtesy visit to Governor Simon Kachapin as part of their Area-Based Portfolio programming.

The visit, which included a scoping mission to Kapenguria and Kacheliba in Kenya, as well as Amudat and Moroto in Uganda, aimed to bolster regional collaboration on key issues.

Discussions during the visit centered on three primary areas: peacebuilding, climate change, and water provision. Governor Kachapin and the UNDP delegation explored strategies to enhance regional peace and security, address the impacts of climate change, and improve access to clean water for local communities.
