Governor Kachapin Leads Inspection of Sangak Primary School

H.E Governor Simon Kachapin led an inspection of Sangak Primary School, a new educational facility representing a strong collaboration between the World Bank, Kenya National Highways Authority (KENHA), and the County Government of West Pokot.

Primarily funded by the World Bank through KENHA, this project is set to strengthen educational infrastructure for local communities, promoting greater access to quality education.
Expected to open in early January 2025, Sangak Primary School will provide a valuable resource for local children, enhancing their educational opportunities and supporting community development.
Governor Kachapin was joined in the inspection by a team of KENHA officials, led by Eng. James Theuri, alongside Hon. Richard Mastaluk, Hon. Loriya, and county representatives, including CECMs Rebecca Kide (Education) and William Petot (water), as well as Chief Officers Julius Lokituman (education) and Leonard Kamsait (water).
With final preparations underway, Sangak Primary School stands as a testament to effective partnerships focused on community upliftment and future growth.
