GOVERNOR KACHAPIN INSPECTS VARIOUS INFRASTRUCTURAL FACILITIES IN MAKUTANO TOWN
Governor Simon Kachapin together with deputy governor Robert Komolle inspected the National blood bank, West Pokot satellite centre, Youth empowerment center and the new site for the proposed health dispensary in Makutano town, Mnagei Ward.
The proposed new health dispensary will be helpful to the rapidly growing population of Makutano municipality. The ground breaking and commissioning will start very soon. Governor Kachapin said that his government is committed to transforming the health sector as per his manifesto.
“My administration will ensure health sector is revived. I promised in my manifesto that I will add more dispensaries including this one for Makutano.” He spoke.
While addressing youths in Youth Empowerment Centre, Governor Kachapin urged them to utilize the centre and learn various online programs advanced by Ajira digital domiciled in the centre.
"The youths play a very important role in the development of this county and for that the county government is indebted and ready to work and empower them." Said the governor.
Present during the inspection were County Executive Committee Members Claire Parklea and Joshua Rutto (roads), MCAs Richard Todosia (Mnagei) and Richard Mastaluk (Kapenguria)
