County Prepares for International Day of Peace with Strategic Stakeholder Meeting

The Department of Peace Building and Conflict Management, under the leadership of County Executive Committee Member for Public Service Management and ICT, Martin Lottee, recently participated in a key stakeholder planning meeting in anticipation of the International Day of Peace.

The meeting brought together development partners, including Interpeace, and county government teams to organize and coordinate efforts for the upcoming celebration.This year’s International Day of Peace, scheduled for September 21, will be hosted in our county.

This event provides a valuable opportunity to enhance our county’s image through focused peacebuilding efforts and community-driven initiatives.
