Chepareria Municipality to Benefit from New Road and Waste Management Enhancements

TThe County Government of West Pokot has officially launched the grading of the Naminit-Baraka Road in Chepareria, a transformative infrastructure project set to boost connectivity and economic growth in the region.

Once completed, the road will link Chepareria Municipality with neighboring villages, improving trade, transport, and access to essential services. This initiative is part of the county’s broader commitment to enhancing infrastructure and fostering sustainable development.

In addition to the road project, the county government has handed over a tractor to Chepareria Municipality to improve waste collection and disposal, ensuring a cleaner and healthier environment for residents.

Speaking during the flag-off, Governor Simon Kachapin reiterated his administration’s dedication to improving road networks and public services, emphasizing that these developments will empower communities and drive progress across West Pokot County.
