A.C.F Boosts Kapenguria County Referral Hospital
The collaboration between the County Government of West Pokot Department of Health and Sanitation and ACF marks a significant step towards enhancing healthcare services in the county.
A team from Action Against Hunger led by Betty Cheyech (Nutrition Manager) today donated a range of supplies including banners, jackets, hats and bibs for Community Health Volunteers (CHVs) and Health Care Workers (HCWs), medical equipment; examination beds, measuring cylinders, and baby dolls for pediatric care and furniture; tables and chairs, along with collapsible hand washing stations, tents, and other infrastructural elements.
While receiving the donations, the County Executive Committee Member for Health and Sanitation, Mrs. Claire Parklea who was accompanied by Chief Officer in charge of the department, Ms. Nelly Soprin applauded ACF for their continued comprehensive support which has greatly enhanced the quality of healthcare subsequently providing a solid foundation for improved services and better outcomes for the community.
