30 National Police Reservists Deployed in Tapach Ward to Strengthen Security
Hon. Martin Lotee, representing H.E. Governor Simon Kachapin, officiated the deployment of 30 National Police Reservists (NPR) at Katung'ui Security Camp in Kapushen, Tapach Ward.
The NPR officers, having completed intensive training, are equipped with critical skills to combat crime, including banditry. Their training also covered law enforcement procedures, first aid, community policing, and relevant legislation, ensuring they are well-prepared to tackle the region's security challenges.
Hon. Lotee urged the public to cooperate with both the police and NPR officers to bolster security efforts. He stressed the importance of promptly reporting suspicious activities and maintaining open communication with law enforcement, highlighting that community-police collaboration is key to sustaining peace and safety.
This deployment marks a significant step in addressing security concerns in Tapach Ward, reflecting the county government's commitment to protecting its residents.
